Many OEMs have made an effort to make all electronic parts one time use. AEMT MAXX is a software package that assists in making it possible to use second hand PCMs by either cloning or editing VIN and immobilizer data from one PCM to another. TIPM Reset
In addition to PCM tools, the software includes a TIPM reset utility. This utility clears the VIN data and vehicle order so that you can replace a faulty part with a used one.
In Development
There are a few more common failure parts we are working on for the future. Electric Power Steering and Body Control Modules are currently being developed. As more modules are added, upgrades will be offered at a reasonable cost.
